I've got a Radeon ViVo AGP4 64m DDR (7200 series). At one time, I was able to turn on per pixel alpha blending, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember how I did it. I know that I was able to do this because I needed it for WinFX and was somehow able to do so.

Does anyone know how to do this? I looked at the Rage3dTweak, but it doesn't have it in there.

Barring that, what ATI card am I going to need to do PPAB for WB5 and Vista Aero? I've looked at the Radeon website, but I can't tell at what point the cards allow for that. (I don't do PC games, just eye candy and just want the cheapest I can get away with.

Thanks

Your Radeon 7200 series will not do the per pixel alpha that WB needs.

ATI cards from the 9500 up will support it ok and should work with vista too.  So any card from ATI which says it supports Pixel Shaders 2.0, 2.0b or 3.0.
