23 NOV 2002 (Version 0.14 ß)

The skins are loaded from the skins-subfolder by default.
The events path now defaults to the same folder where the Rainlendar.ini file is.
Fixed a bug that put wrong week number if the first day of the month was sunday.
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused multiplication of events when they were deleted.
Added support for icons in event profiles (check the shadow3-skin for examples).
Added PNG support for easier alpha transparency handling.
Improved the wallpaper polling routine; now it checks the timestamp too.
Added support for native Win2k/XP transparency.
Use Window Name -option was broken. Fixed.
Fixed a bug that caused a wrong day to be selected sometimes when the calendar was double clicked.
Added support for solid background with an optional bevel edge.
Added OnDesktop option to keep the calendar visible even with Explorer's "Show Desktop" feature.

I love this program and put in on EVERY computer I use. I can't believe that it's only at version .14, as it's always been extremely stable and did exactly what I expected it to do.

But I really like the new way to change skins. I almost feel like I can recommend this to less-tech-oriented friends.

old news, but of course Rainlendar is excellent.

Dagwud, Rainlendar is at .14 because it comes from the LiteStep scene. there have always been close ties to *NIX, and here tradionally full version numbers are only given when a program is completely bug free. in the Windows world that´s a little different of course.

I like the small compactness of the little ol' app. In my business it's convenient to have the month's calendar right there to talk with clients etc. Great idea!

I absolutely love this app. Having the calendar on my desktop is a time-saver, not to mention all of the great skins available for it.
